Donald Trump Reacts to Kellyanne Conway's Divorce After 22 Years
After learning that Kellyanne Conway is getting a divorce, the former president Donald Trump congratulated her and rejoiced in the decision.
Following a Page Six allegation that Conway and her husband, lawyer George Conway, were getting a divorce after 22 years of marriage, Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Friday.
In the Trump administration, Conway served as the president's senior adviser from 2017 to 2020, although her husband has been a vocal opponent of the outgoing leader.
Congrats to Kellyanne Conway on separating from her crazy husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway, wrote Trump. She has finally been set free and is no longer wearing the repulsive albatross around her neck.
It will be a beautiful life without the incredibly unattractive loser by her side, he continued, adding that she is a great person and will now be free to live the way she deserves.
After years of rumours about their relationship, George and Kellyanne Conway, who wed in 2001 and have four children together, are apparently planning to divorce.
Their divergent opinions on the late President Trump had come under some scrutiny, and George Conway had previously come under assault from Trump and been labelled as "mentally sick."
Through his Save America PAC, Trump released a statement in April of last year that made reference to a video of Conway and said, "He's mentally ill, a very sick man. I'm not sure what Kellyanne did to him, but it had to be terrible. This man's mind is absolutely shot; she has fully wrecked him!
George Conway stated in October of last year that he thought Trump might be found guilty of several offences stemming from inquiries into the events of January 6, 2021 and his handling of secret documents.
He will probably be found guilty of number of felonies. Conway said to Salon, "I don't know if there will ever be a perp walk, but I don't think it's a fantasy either.
He claimed that because this issue is so central to Trump's persona, the president will want to split the nation before arbitrating any of these legal disputes.
Although Kellyanne Conway has continued to back her ex-boss, she cautioned that it would be "foolish to expect that Mr. Trump's path to another presidency would be straightforward and secure" in a guest column she wrote for The New York Times in January.
