After 17 Seasons, The Talk Show "Rachael Ray" will end.

This March, "Rachael Ray" will end its 17-season run in daytime syndication.

The series' recent dramatic ratings decrease prompted the decision to terminate the Monday-Friday chat show. Ray continues to be active on Food Network and other platforms. The decision by Ray to start a new production business, Free Food Studios, was another indication that she was getting ready to leave the demands of a daily talk show.

"I've had 17 amazing seasons working in daytime television in my more than 20 years in television," Ray stated. But I've decided that it's time for me to advance to the next thrilling phase of my broadcasting career. My interests have progressed from the talk show format production and syndication model to a platform free of conventional distribution constraints. I'm genuinely thrilled about the opportunity to showcase and foster emerging culinary talent across all media. Because of this, I am eager to focus all of my efforts on my freshly revealed production company, Free Food Studios. We appreciate the fantastic years we all shared with our Rachael daytime show partners, staff, and affiliates.

A number of long-lasting TV personalities got their start in the industry thanks to frequent appearances on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," including Ray. In the fall of 2006, Ray transitioned to her own CBS-distributed syndicated talk show. For more than 15 years, the programme was a major force in daytime. In 2008, 2009, and 2019, "Rachael Ray" won the Daytime Emmy for best talk show.

"When Rachael launched her programme 17 years ago, she revolutionized the daytime television industry. According to Steve LoCascio, president of CBS Media Ventures, "She made food approachable to the general public, taught viewers basic ways to improve their lives, and coaxed fantastic stories out of star visitors with her sympathetic down-to-earth personality. We are pleased to have a show that was so successful for so many years with Rachael and her team. Although we won't have Rachael on the air every day, our family ties will never fade.

By early May, the series' production should be finished. Up until the end of the summer, episodes will be broadcast on television. Ray will be honored with a Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame induction in May.
